    Meet Dr. Vela

Dr. Jeremy Vela is not only the owner and head dentist at Epic Dental Center, he is part of a dental legacy. His father, Dr. Rene Vela, and brother, Dr. Benjamin Vela are well-respected dentists in South Texas. So, Dr. Vela has been immersed in the field of dentistry from a young adolescent.

Dr. Vela, however, values making his own way in his career and has exceptional credentials in his own right. A graduate of St. Mary’s University, Dr. Vela went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2019.

Earning his DDS from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in San Antonio was one of his most treasured accomplishments.

But his degree was not enough Dr. Vela wanted to specialize in complex surgical procedures such as dental implants and full mouth reconstruction. Additionally, he is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), and Greater Houston Dental Society (GHDS).

Proactive Approach To Dental Care In Houston

At our Houston dental practice, we take a proactive approach to dental care for all our patients. Most dental problems experienced are naturally degenerative-meaning they get worse over time without treatment. If caught early enough, some cavities can be treated with just a filling; but if left untreated, a root canal or tooth extraction may be necessary. Our dentist utilizes cutting-edge technologies to detect and address dental issues at their earliest stage possible-helping you maintain optimal oral health throughout life.
